New Blog Design
I've been working on a blog system in Django lately. I know, I know. Everyone is working on a blog system in Django. I'll discuss how I justify writing a new blog system when there is Wordpress and some excellent existing blog apps for Django. For now, I would like your opinion on the basic design. Here's a screenshot. Be honest, but if you think it sucks, you may make me cry -- I've been working on it for weeks!
Meh, I'm not too fond of the layout.
It's kinda bland (think early web 2.0 bland).
What font do you use for the blog text. It looks nice.
I don't like the white titles on light green on the right. Hard to read, otherwise its simple but simple is good.

i like the little white arrow on the right hand side, really makes it sexy, it;s the little touches that count.

That is because the "simple" you seek is the opposite of complex, not of complicated.

I really like it. I'm not usually a fan of serif fonts, but this one really works here.
It looks fine but why do we need a new blog system written in django? Unless of course you're planning to deploy it on Google App Engine... (hint, hint).
Having had a sneak look at this all templated out, I can say that this design is brilliant!
